Default Low Cost Ketone Test Strips Anyone????

Does anyone have any good sources (internet/local) for inexpensive Ketone
strips? Went to my local Walmart and in the low-carb section they have 25
packs for about $15. I know I seen much cheapr then that online.

You don't say where you live so it's difficult to give local suggestions. But,
if you are in the Ohio area Marc's has the best deal.
Also you can cut the test strips in half to double your money. Actually (when
I used them) I would cut mine into thirds ... it makes for a very thin strip
but all you need is a spec of the reactive chemical.

Do you live far enough North that you ever take a day trip into Canada?

I can get a 50-pack here for $9 CAD (so about $7 USD). At that price it's
not even worth going to the hassle of cutting the strips in half.

Ketogenics makes a 100 pack canister that should retail for around $14 US.

I think you're looking at the lowcarb-ripoff brand on the shelf.
They keep the diabetic Bayer Ketostix behind the counter, and they
run about $15 for 100.
