Default Am I doing the right thing?

I'm having a tough week.

After 4 great weeks in a row, I slightly went over my weekly points
allowance by Saturday. We took the kids to Canada's Wonderland - a huge
amusement park and I kind of gave into a few minor indulgences (NOT FULLY)
but partially enough to put my week in danger

I was good on Sunday, but I really got back OP big time yesterday!

I'm kinda proud of myself, but not sure if I might be setting myself up for
a downfall? I'm normally allowed 38 points on FLEX, but for the last 4
weeks, I've been eating within a range of 32 to 38, plus my 35 weekly
points. I've been trying very hard to stick to 32.

Due to my bad weekend, I decided to try eating only 22 points yesterday! I
did it - no problem!! I felt sooo in Control!
Today, I'm heading towards 24 for the day.
I'm shooting for only 22 tomorrow and Thursday, because Friday is my WI day.

As of Monday morning, I was up 5 lbs from last Friday's WI.....I know this
isn't "TRUE" weight, but nonetheless, I need to get rid of it.

I've increased my water intake - decreased my salt intake and am hoping that
by decreasing my daily points from Monday to Thursday, maybe there's a
chance I will not show any gain (or little gain) at this Friday's WI.

Am I pushing myself too much? I don't plan on doing this forever because I
know my body will likely adjust to only 22 points, and that's certainly not
sustainable for me at this point in time. But I just think that if I try
this for the next few days, it may result in a successful week?

Anyone disagree with what I'm doing? Any encouraging words maybe?

For me I find that just doing the same basic intake daily works
best...Adding daily excersise has also made a big difference...It allows for
occasional moments without worry...When I play the game that today I eat and
tomorrow I don't it is as bad as when I was in college and tried to float
paper with the bank...I often had checks bounce but I digress...Manure
occureth and we just have to start fresh with the next day or meal...But in
time it seems easier to stay in control...Your certainly on the right
path...Keep on keeping on...GG

You're allowed 38 daily pts and you're shooting for 22?

I don't think thats a good idea. I would fear a "rebound effect".

As a fellow member, I wanna say "Goodluck" as a leader I'm very tempted to
say "Be carefull there, you're walking on thin ice.. "

I hope it works for you. The good news is if you do gain you know why... if
I cut my points like that it would make me flip into starvation mode and I
would surely gain, but I know some who can do as you are describing for a
week and it works to correct an indiscretion, it will be a grand experiment,
Lee waiting for results
