Default Thermogenesis in the summer

Hi, in Northern California here and have noticed I'm not losing as much
weight as I was the last time I tried this diet back in November. Is it
because my body deosn't need to burn as many calories to keep me warm? It
doesn't ever snow here but maybe the cool weather of winter makes enough of
a change?

What do you think?

I remember reading some years ago that people who live in the Artic regions
seldom gain body fat.

It makes sense, our bodies are furnaces. When the outside temperature
lowers, our bodies burn more fuel to make heat.

It's more likely because you're eating too much and not doing enough
exercise.

If that were true, Eskimos and Norwegians would be very thin. Hmmm. Well,
in any case, I don't believe there is a significant change in caloric burn
rate with changing climates.

Try using http://www.FitDay.com to monitor your calories. That may get you
back on track.
