Long time lurker
I thought it was about time to make a post.
First of all I don't follow any plan made up by any organisation, not that I think they are bad- they just weren't for me. I decided at the age of 37 and 18 stone (252 pounds- was too much for a 5ft 9in male) to lose weight- this was late 2005. My current weight is 13st 3lbs (185lbs) which isn't the quickest loss in history but I'm quite happy with it My "goal" is between 11 and12 stone for the rest of my life, the way I see it is I will never be able to go back to "normal" eating again. As I have said I've been looking in on this group for quite a while and some of your postings have been good reading, can't have enough real life experience when larning about nutrition and how it affects our bodies Anyhoo- hello everyone I hope to be able to make a positive contribution when I can |

I'm eating healthy good food, that I enjoy, the saying no to the bad stuff I don't ) I think it's amazing though how "easy" it appears to the people I know and work with- I have had all the "men find it easier" ********- it's not fecking easy!! for anyone who was so overweight. I have seen so many people try and fail and end up worse off and the self denial- I was there and I hear all the lies that people tell themselves it's pretty frightening |
