Default A few good days

Well since I last posted I've had three very good days out of 5. I am
trying not to kill myself over these because I was under an enormous amount
of stress with my beautiful 8 day old grandbaby in the hospital since
Friday. I'm trying not to beat myself up.

Why is it if I put one tiny little thing in my mouth that's bad I feel I
have to blow the day? I don't understand what's wrong with me.

Some one had mentioned OA. Not for me. I tried that many years ago, many
times. I don't think it's realistic to say I will never eat bread. I also
felt that almost everyone there was very lonely and needed friends. Not a
bad thing but again not for me. I can't get up in front of people and spill
my heart out.

I thought I would share some of the things I love.

Slim Fast chocolate fudge bars. These are so good and 2 points. I like
these better than any other brand. They're very rich and creamy.

A delicious frittata made with egg whites, 1 teaspoon of grated cheese, salt
and pepper. I dice up a zucchini a tomato, some mushrooms and cook in a
olive oil pam spray. When that's done I put the eggs in and cover with a
low flame. It will puff up and then I slide it out to brown the other side.
So good. 3 points.

A baked potato with lite sour cream and lite butter. I have that for dinner
with a large plate of broccoli. 5 points.

Thanks to everyone,
Bettina

Glad to see that you've had 3 good days. Stress over a sick loved one can
cause a lot of stress. Hopefully everything will turn out okay with your
grand baby.

Try and remember that WW is not a diet. It is a WOL/WOE that you will want
to follow for the rest of your life. The beauty of WW is that nothing is
forbidden if you have the points for it. When the urge strikes then drink
some diet soda or some water. Maybe you're thirsty and not hungry. Several
have suggested to wait 10 minutes to see if the urge still remains. Then try
and go for something low point but tasty. I always leave a few points for an
evening snack. Maybe rearrange your points would help you.

Many feel the same way about going to WW meetings. They work for some but
not for others. You do what ever you feel comfortable with. That's another
plus for WW.

I discovered Krave Energy Bars (4 points) that I will eat during my Saturday
morning WW meeting with coffe from Dunkin donuts (made with skim milk and 2
splendas). Pria bars are good too at 2 points a piece.

This sounds heavenly. I certainly am going to try this out soon.
