Lyle's new book - Ultimate Diet 2.0
I have no clue who Dr. Phil is, or what he looks like, but surely you must
see how silly this statement is. 235 is not such a high weight for someone who is 6'4". Surely many professional athletes meet or exceed this. Heck, my brother-in-law is 6'2" and weighs 230 and he looks fabulous, not the least bit chunky. He's very handsome. My son has also had a height/weight ratio that put his BMI in the "obese" category, this despite the fact that he had a 32-inch waist and was carryin 12% bodyfat at the time. So while I have no clue who Dr. Phil is or what he looks like, this information alone is hardly going to make me regard him as "chunky". Far from it. Debbie "TdN" wrote in message And of course it isn't a "fabrication", anyway. Dr. Phil's ass is, indeed, chunky--his own publicity materials reveal that he is 6'4" and weighs 235 pounds, which puts him at a BMI of 28.6. |

Lyle's new book - Ultimate Diet 2.0
On Sat, 20 Sep 2003 22:57:06 -0700, "Jake"
announced in front of God and everybody: I'm 6'3" and I sure as heck wish I only weighed 235. My husband's 6'2" and weighs 230 -- he's not even remotely obese. But if you went purely by those ridiculous BMI calculations, you'd think he must be a big tub 'o butter. But in reality he's in excellent shape, and he'd like to lose maybe ten or 15 pounds to lose the slight bit of softness on his frame. But it's not like he actually *needs* to. Those silly charts don't take into consideration age, frame or muscle mass.
