Default Amberle3 update

Hey everyone!

Well, I'm back in town again, for a few days, and then I'm off again on
Monday! Then back again for 3 whole weeks, and then out of town again!
Ack!

I apparently had too good a time out of town, because instead of my numbers
going down they shot right up. I'm blaming (some) of it on TOM. Can't
blame all of it on that though. I'm a little mystified about the huge
increase though, as I thought I was doing relatively well on the exercise
side of the equation. I know I was over points, even though I wasn't
tracking them, because most dinners were fairly elaborate. But OTOH, even
though we were eating at restaurants all the time for almost 2 weeks, I
didn't pick anything fried or with heavy sauces. We went to a nice Italian
restaurant and I resisted the urge to order something cheesy and instead
opted for grilled chicken. I either worked out in the hotel facilities (if
they existed, we were in a total of 5 different places), in the room or went
for long walks. And yet the scale still showed a !*(^&#^ 7 pound increase.

Oh well, this week has been pretty good, and although I leave Monday for Las
Vegas I don't think we'll be eating very elaborate meals. Maybe. Wait.
We're checking out locations for our wedding reception, which means we'll be
eating at some places. Well I'll just have to make sure I a) watch the
points intake and b) make darn good use of the fitness room.

What I really need is to find a way to copy my workout VHS tapes onto DVD so
I can take them with me.

Because I've been away and without internet access for some of the time, the
websites are a little out of date. They'll be updated by this time
tomorrow.

My mother has been doing well. She's lost 2 more pounds, and gave me quite
a surprise when I came home - she's quit smoking. She's in her early 60's
now and she's been smoking since she was 12. It's not easy for her, but
she's doing it. She hasn't had a cigarette for over 2 weeks now. What's
almost more amazing is that my aunt is doing this right along with her, I
never thought she'd quit.

So that's the updates my from my corner, for now anyway! A week from now
I'll have my wedding and reception venues set, and be on my way back home
from glittering Las Vegas. Whee!

Oh, alright

Actually the tastings should be VERY on-program for me. DFi is Chinese (I'm
not) and apparently from what I can tell most of the items on the
traditional Chinese wedding banquet menu are seafood. I can't eat seafood.
So I'm going to have to rely on DFi and his parents to tell me how things
are!

You know the program and you have to be careful to follow it a bit
more diligently - okay? (g)

So carefully taste samples of food but maybe this could be an
opportunity to go for good but reasonably healthy foods for the
wedding party, too. But have fun at home and away.

Wow, you certainly lead a very busy life. Hopefully one of these days things
will slow down a bit. In the meantime, do the best you can. You know the
program but you'll need to work a little harder with it while on the road.
Have fun in Vegas.

going down they shot right up.

Whee!

Wow, sounds like you lead a pretty busy and exciting life ! Checking out
wedding locations sounds fun, but watch what you taste... oner nibble here

Hey everyone!

Well, I'm back in town again, for a few days, and then I'm off again on
Monday! Then back again for 3 whole weeks, and then out of town again!
Ack!

I apparently had too good a time out of town, because instead of my
