Can't Eat
This is day two of "everything edible disgusts me."
Yesterday, I couldn't bring myself to even try to eat until late afternoon. I made a huge salad. It's a good thing my dogs like salad. Crash had a package of Snickerdoodles (my favorite cookie). I asked for one, took one bite, spit it out, and returned the rest of the cookie to its rightful owner. This morning, I made a bowl of (3) scrambled eggs and a bunch of crumbled breakfast pork sausage. Fortunately, my dogs like eggs and sausage, too. I just made one of the large boxes of sugar-free Jell-O, and am hoping that the gelatin will go down okay once it's thickened. I'm also planning on heating up some chicken broth later, and try sipping on that. I'm pretty sure the dogs would enjoy chicken broth, too, if that doesn't work. I'm not sure if I'm physically ill, or if this is my long-awaited nervous breakdown. I've been sleeping a lot. Diabetes is a weird thing when you're sick. My fasting blood sugar was 211 this morning. Any ideas? I'm a compulsive overeater. This is just not natural for me. Carol -- "Years ago my mother used to say to me... She'd say 'In this world Elwood, you must be oh-so smart or oh-so pleasant.' Well, for years I was smart.... I recommend pleasant. You may quote me." *James Stewart* in the 1950 movie, _Harvey_ |

Carol My opinion, sounds like a stomach thing - virus or maybe a bad egg or something. -- Tree http://carolinatree.forumer.com http://forums.delphiforums.com/lowcarbrecipes |

Maybe your body is trying to say that you are no longer a compulsive eater. Why not take this opportunity to image a new, more positive "self fulfilling prophecy" about yourself?
