It's always easy to judge people.. what you know is what you see.. there's a
whole range of things going on in her life that you don't know about..

The thing about Weight watchers is that we're all in this together..

Members (and Staff!!!) have to feel..
Cared for
Informed
Motivated
Part of the group

If you worked for WW you know this... stop looking around, look at how YOU
are living the service vision? how YOU are making everybody around you
feeling cared for, informed, motivated and part of the group?

Start there... you might be surprised how her demenor changes once she
realize what you're doing.. In the long run, it's a lot easier and much more
effective than rat on her to the corporate office.. who knows.. you might
even make a friend..

When I called the office and complained they told me if I could reach

goal
they would train me for the leader and still let her clerk just so they
wouldnt have to fire her. This is why I'm trying to do it on my one I

think I
could be a good leader. I know that when I was clerking members would

always
come up and talk to me afterwards about there struggles. I even tried to

talk
with her thinking that if we stayed after the meeting and just visited

as
friends we could help each other. Cause they had also hired me not

reaching
my goal. But her attitude always made feel like we were just coworker

and
she
had no interest in being my friend and she didn't have any struggles.

The
other girl that clerked part time and I became very good friends and

even
though we both quit WW meetings we are still talking now and meeting

every
now and then to support each other at home.

I know they probably wouldnt fire someone that gained some weight back.

But
they hired her like this.

And yes the wages are like volunteering they asked me to clerk for her

for
awhile and I did believe the only finicial benefit was I didn't have to

pay
for my meeting while I was doing other then that what they pay is just

enough
to pay for my gas.

That's why I love my current leader. She is one of us, not someone who
has lost the weight and then found it easy to maintain. She shares
stories of her struggles and we can all relate to them. Her meetings

I'll remember forever my leader looking at me straight in the face after I
asked if 1 cup and half of strawberries for 1 pts.. is it cut up or whole?

She stared me down.. and went..
"Melanie.. are you here because you ate too many strawberries?"

To this day I blush everytime I think about it.. heheheh

I agree with you completely Lee. There are some great leaders and some
mediocre leaders. Kind of like school teachers. I know my regular

leader
is the one that roots me on and is my own cheering squad. She will call

you
when you are down if you like, give out her home number for you to call

with
questions if you need to ask and just a great overall general friend in

this
weight loss game. She has been there for everything for me and I am

ever
grateful. She was so missed when she was out for about 6 weeks while

her
pelvis healed. She fell in the meeting room and fractured her pelvis in
four places. She talked her doctor into letting her come back to work,

he
limited her to 20 hours a week, with no more than 15 minutes of standing

per
hour. So she conducted her weigh in sessions and meetings from a wheel
chair. She is GREAT!!!

I had a similiar experience with the WW @Work program. "Donna" was

the
leader that started this group and I lost alot of weight under her

care,
cheerleading, and encouragement. I looked forward to going each week

as
a
hightlight. When she was offered a higher paying job, she left(I can
understand that) and we were given a WW-robot lady. Ya know, the kind
that
walks in, gives that fakey half smile(I actually believe most full

fakey
smiles), and she couldn't get anyone to interact(when I did, you

thought
I'd
run over her) and half the time we would have to ask for our stars
because
she would forget to pass them out.

Hey, when you work so hard to earn them and are used to a big deal

being
made for 5 pounds, that habit doesn't go away easily. So I stopped

going
and
just let WW have the rest of my weeks $$. I called them with my

opinions
of
this robo-WWlady and never received a response. It wasn't worth the
trudgery
of taking a lunch just to be patronized with a temporary robo-leader.

So, I continue my WW journey at home....

Here you go I copied it over.

Oct 2001 is when I decided to loose weight I was at my heaviest of

262
I'm
5'2. I joined WW and did really well I lost 67 pd in 1 year. Slow

maybe
for
some but I was satisfied and never felt deprived. I was down to 195

and
feeling great. Our leader quit and they let a girl who weighed 300

pds
take
it over. Everyweek was a bad week for her and she was actually

gaining.
I
found I had gained back 5 pds in a 4 mth period while attending WW

this
was
around feb 2003. So I decided to quit and do it WW on my own. Well

I
did
loose the 5 pds I had gained and another 5. But it took me till Oct
2003.

In Feb I got transferred to another location with my job we didn't

have
to
move or anything it wasn't but 15 miles further. Its just that I

loved
it
were I was but I was given a choose. I hadnt the new job. I'm a

strong
person
and a woman who speaks her mind. My old boss encouraged me to share
idea's
that would improve business my new boss was one of those men who

didn't
think
a woman could ever do a job better than him so your ideas was not
encouraged
I tried to stay one but I was gaining weight back not much about 10

pds
and I
had quit exercising I was miserable.

Then on Oct 2003 My dad died and everything went down hill from

there.
He
left no will and 3 kids and a step mom who won't let us even step

on
our
home
ground. He had a business, farm, and cattle long before she came
along.
And
now she has us tied up in court. I took the rest of the week off

and
a
funny
story now but not then happened. When I went back on monday I had

only
fixed
one side of my hair and only had makeup on one side of my face. Of
course
it
was notice quickly and my friend brought it to my attention. So I

just
went
to the bathroom pulled my hair back in a pony tail and washed my

face.
(lol)

Jan 2004 I got offered a job with H & R block. and I ran to it.

But
by
now I
had gained back to 242. So in Oct 2004 I decided to try joining

curves
if
I
was pay for a gym maybe I would go. Well I lost inches and some

weight
.
So
April 15 is my last day of work for the year and that was when I
decided
to
try WW on my own again. I had lost back down to 218 As of Aug 1 and
came
to a
stop I didn't loose all of aug. But this month I have started

loosing
again
it looks like 6 pds but I take my curves weigh ins and measurements

as
my
monthly official weight.

I have contacted the WW headquarters and the same 330 pd lady is

still
the
leader. They said no one else would do it. They told me if I can
succeed
this
time in getting to my goal they would be interested in talking to

me
.
So
this time I'm trying to loose for myself and all the other women

who
need
a
new leader. We use to have 45 to 60 people in our WW group. They

have
6
now.

Thanks for listening and the support.

thought
I'd
run over her) and half the time we would have to ask for our

stars
because
she would forget to pass them out.

Hey, when you work so hard to earn them and are used to a big

deal
being
made for 5 pounds, that habit doesn't go away easily. So I

stopped
going
and
just let WW have the rest of my weeks $$. I called them with my
opinions
of
this robo-WWlady and never received a response. It wasn't worth

the
trudgery
of taking a lunch just to be patronized with a temporary

robo-leader.

So, I continue my WW journey at home....

Here you go I copied it over.

Oct 2001 is when I decided to loose weight I was at my heaviest

of
262
I'm
5'2. I joined WW and did really well I lost 67 pd in 1 year.

Slow
maybe
for
some but I was satisfied and never felt deprived. I was down to

195
and
feeling great. Our leader quit and they let a girl who weighed

300
pds
take
it over. Everyweek was a bad week for her and she was actually
gaining.
I
found I had gained back 5 pds in a 4 mth period while attending

WW
this
was
around feb 2003. So I decided to quit and do it WW on my own.

Well
I
did
loose the 5 pds I had gained and another 5. But it took me till

Oct
2003.

In Feb I got transferred to another location with my job we

didn't
have
to
move or anything it wasn't but 15 miles further. Its just that

I
loved
it
were I was but I was given a choose. I hadnt the new job. I'm a
strong
person
and a woman who speaks her mind. My old boss encouraged me to

share
idea's
that would improve business my new boss was one of those men

who
didn't
think
a woman could ever do a job better than him so your ideas was

not
encouraged
I tried to stay one but I was gaining weight back not much

about
10
pds
and I
had quit exercising I was miserable.

Then on Oct 2003 My dad died and everything went down hill from
there.
He
left no will and 3 kids and a step mom who won't let us even

step
on
our
home
ground. He had a business, farm, and cattle long before she

came
along.
And
now she has us tied up in court. I took the rest of the week

off
and
a
funny
story now but not then happened. When I went back on monday I

had
only
fixed
one side of my hair and only had makeup on one side of my face.

Of
course
it
was notice quickly and my friend brought it to my attention. So

I
just
went
to the bathroom pulled my hair back in a pony tail and washed

my
face.
(lol)

Jan 2004 I got offered a job with H & R block. and I ran to

it.
But
by
now I
had gained back to 242. So in Oct 2004 I decided to try joining
curves
if
I
was pay for a gym maybe I would go. Well I lost inches and some
weight
.
So
April 15 is my last day of work for the year and that was when

I
decided
to
try WW on my own again. I had lost back down to 218 As of Aug 1

and
came
to a
stop I didn't loose all of aug. But this month I have started

loosing
again
it looks like 6 pds but I take my curves weigh ins and

measurements
as
my
monthly official weight.

I have contacted the WW headquarters and the same 330 pd lady

is
still
the
leader. They said no one else would do it. They told me if I

can
succeed
this
time in getting to my goal they would be interested in talking

to
me
.
So
this time I'm trying to loose for myself and all the other

women
who
need
a
new leader. We use to have 45 to 60 people in our WW group.

They
have
6
now.

Thanks for listening and the support.
Lori
