Default Linda P's 10/8 WI

Today's WI: 169.4
I started on 8/13 at a weight of 177.6. On 9/3, I was down to 169.8.
Then came the MONTH of events involving my exH's death and funeral and
my bout with the flu. My weight went up and down--my lowest weight in
September was 167.8 on 9/28; my highest was 177.4 on 10/3. (Notice
that's a 9.8-lb weight increase in only 5 days!!)

So over the past month, my net loss was .4 lbs, down 8.2 lbs total
since starting (an avg loss of 1 lb/wk). Considering everything, I'm
very pleased with that result. I'm under 170; my net change was DOWN;
and I'm seeing that a few days of out-of-control eating and a few days
of beyond-my-control eating don't have to determine the final results.
Paying close attention when I can, eating foods that satisfy me,
avoiding foods that trigger false hunger and binge-eating, eating
enough (which is more than I realized!)... those are the things that
are making the difference for me.

You have the right outlook, Linda. You made it through a very bad patch
& are now back OP. Just take one day at a time.
