Simpler yet is to point out that low carb foods are still being sold
locally at a higher price point allowing greater gross margin to the
purveyor. I have foung Whole Foods prices to be consistantly on the
high side. In my area we also have Sunset foods a small indepenfant
chain and their low carb section seems to be growing nicely, probably
for the above reason.
