Default Food & Exercise -- 3/16/2006

Worked half a day today, went to lunch with a friend, did some
errands in preparation for my trip tomorrow, then went to the hospital
to see DH and bring him some books & clean underwear. He's still in,
mostly because they wanted to keep him around because he's scheduled
for cardiac ablation tomorrow -- unfortunately, the same time I leave
for NC with my brother and SIL. This is a procedure done under local
anaesthesia and isn't at all high risk, but I'm not happy about having
to leave town when he's doing it, though he's fine with it. (He will
be able to come home either tomorrow evening or Saturday morning;
friends of ours will pick him up and bring him home.) No time for the
gym today -- still busy getting ready for the trip.

Food:

* 7:45 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & 10g shaved parmesan
* 12:30 (restaurant): salad w/ greens, carrots, cucumbers, 1/2 cup
rice noodles, 4 oz. grilled chicken breast, 2 tbsp f/f asian dressing
* 2:30 (sample at Trader Joe's): 1 cracker w/ 1 tbsp artichoke dip
* 4:30 (home, while picking up stuff to take to hospital): 2 squares
milk chocolate
* 7:30 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat English muffin w/ 3 slices
f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup
* 11:00 (home -- planned): 200g f/f Greek yogurt

Totals: 1389 calories, 39g fat (25%), 122g carbs (35%), 132g protein
(38%)

Exercise: None, other than running errands.
