Weight Watchers leader salary?
Does anyone know what a starting salary for a Weight Watchers leader is
in, say, New York State? I suspect there must be some percentage of commision based on the number of attending members, and probably a base salary too. Any idea of how much each is? Thanks. |

I don't know about New York, but I'd say that it can be safely labeled as
"not enough" anywhere in NACO wrote in message oups.com... Does anyone know what a starting salary for a Weight Watchers leader is in, say, New York State? Weight Watchers leader salary?
If you're going in to make money, look somewhere else, it can be slightly
paying at peak season, but to clear a decent salary at Weight Watchers you've got to be able to put everything aside to do only that. When one works for WW, it's for the rewards of helping people, for the joy of sharing what made our lives so great, the money is there of course, but it's more the kick in the butt when you're too tired to move than the driving force of your work. The other thing is you have to be willing to take meetings at all times in all places. It's not like a 9-5 job in one work place. My leader goes all over the city to teach classes in the work place in additon to those at the center. |

Weight Watchers leader salary?
Ask the staff at your meeting.
wrote in message oups.com... I do appreciate that the main reward would be helping others and that the hours would not be typical 9-5 Mon-Fri. I also know that the salary is small. Here is my situation... I've lost over 90 lbs which brings me almost 2/3 to my goal weight. I've calculated my weightloss thus far, then slowed it to reflect increased difficulty as I get closer to goal, and coincidentally, I will be moving away from my current job (which is a part-time supplemental income) at about the same time I should be reaching goal. I'm just trying to "guesstimate" what the potential earnings might be. Regardless of how little it may be, I know I would still like to become a leader. I just want to get an idea. Can anyone tell me how far below minimum wage the base salary is? What percentage of the weekly fee and what percentage of sales goes to the leader? |

I would assume that unless there is some commission which I doubt,...wages
have to be at least minimum wage...I would also guess it is more than minimum wage...Good luck...GG wrote in message oups.com... It's not my place to tell, to be honest, I don't think my salary is
anybody's business either, I find is strange too that somebody would ask that kind of question on a public news group. Also it IS different from regions to regions (I think) "kmd" wrote in message ... On Sun, 12 Feb 2006 23:38:08 GMT, "Willow Herself" wrote: Ask the staff at your meeting.
