I can't seem to remember how to eat healthy foods or go for long walks.
This past week my eating has been horrible. Junk junk and more junk.
ugh, what do you do to get yourself back on track?

well - (from a gal who's been there, not being a wiseguy) Don't eat junk.
LOL. really.

If you are having trouble because you are craving something salty or sweet
or rich, whatever - figure out what it is. Don't just keep feeding it. If
you pinpoint the trigger or the craving you can squash it with a healthy
food.

I have fallen off the wagon for long periods of time and it can be hard. I
find it easiest to stay on track if i don't let myself get hungry. That
means I snack ALL DAY. An ounce of Feta Cheese here, a dill pickle there,
a hard boiled egg, some tuna, celery with bleu cheese dressing..mmm. I
drink giant glasses of seltzer with lime to stay full too.

I eat strongly flavored foods and I keep sugar-free ice pops in the
freezer too.

If i don't have good, convenient foods handy I find it easier to slip.

You've been doing great and inspired me to start posting here so get back
on the wagon!!

I'm glad you have been inspired. For the most part I have been doing pretty
well, it's just the last 2 wks that have been so hard and I'm not sure why.
Today was so/so. Tomorrow will be better.

Are you eating protein so you will feel satisfied. I begin the day with a
good breakfast. Lately it has been an egg, a piece of double fiber bread,
fresh fruit and a cup of tea. It holds me over until lunch. I have
chicken, tuna, turkey and cottage cheese on hand for my noon meal and the
evening meal is a protein with a big salad and vegetables. Can you throw
away the junk? Throwing away food can feel very liberating.

Audrey

I don't have any junk food in my house, it's junk (mostly pizza) that I have
been eating while away from home. I'm going to start taking my food w/ me
when I have to go out.

Hope your head feels better today.....

I have found that I can't have the junk in the house. I'm on the imfamous
SeeFood diet. I see food and I eat it. Depsite my weight loss, I still
have issues with food. Probably will for the rest of my life.

Take a look at the core plan. Maybe eating off of the core plan for a week
or 2 would help rid the toxins in your system. Sugar and white flour can
cause cravings for people. Increase your water and that should help too.

I don't have junk in the house, it's all junk that I have had when I have
been out for some reason or another.
I have been on Core for a while now and it has been working very well, until
the last couple of weeks. Increasing my water is a good idea, I know I
never really get enough. I hate drinking water.

Eating out also does major damage to my weightloss efforts. I can lose if I
restrict eating out to 1 dinner & 1 lunch per week. These are planned out
meals. Things come up and we've had to call out a few extra times but I am
trying to eat light when we do. That seems to help minimize the damage. My
leader says that unless it is a special occasion, treat eating out like any
other meal. You are just eating a meal but just not at home. I know, easier
said than done but it does help curb the urge to slurge if I remember that
tip.

I try to avoid pizza because I am not satisfied with one slice and
generally it just costs to many points. Do you have the WW dining out
guide? There are so many lower point choices.
