Default 8 Simple Tips to Losing Weight

Dear Friend,

I would like to ask you to seriously think about taking the first steps to
improve your life and how you feel about yourself.
Life is short and the fact that you are reading this message shows you truly
value it.

Personally, I know how painful it can be to be overweight - afraid to
wear tight fitting clothes, being the fat kid, having shortness of breath,
etc.

After twenty years, sick of being overweight - I did something about it.

I am a new person and appreciate/live each day to the best of my ability.
And now, I am committed to sharing my success with you and as many people as
possible.

I have created 8 SIMPLE TIPS to losing weight and living a healthier life.
This requires 15 FOCUSED Minutes of your time EACH DAY (and the tips take 5
minutes to read).

If you enjoy and find value in reading my introduction below and wish to
receive my 8 SIMPLE TIPS, I ask that you make a small contribution of $2.00
(to
help me cover costs of publishing a book and spreading my tips to the
world).

"Lose Weight in 15 minutes!"

Introduction:

Percent of adults age 20 years and over who are overweight or obese: 64
Percent of adults age 20 years and over who are obese: 30
Percent of adolescents age 12-19 years who are overweight: 15
Percent of children age 6-11 years who are overweight: 15

Let's face it - America has a growing weight problem. If you, like me, are
in the majority 64+% of overweight Americans, we

are probably better off NOT having that extra double scoop of ice cream.
But ideals and reality seldom meet in the battle of

the bulge. With the media promoting bigger, faster, tastier foods in
endless advertisement, our primative instincts are

excited pushing us to eat with eyes bigger than our stomachs. America is
the richest country in the world with expanding

waistlines to prove it. No longer are we ancient hunters and gatherers
scrounging for every meal.

Today, each of us for a mere $5.00 can walk into a fast food restaurant and
have a brontosourous-like sandwich grilled and

delivered to our liking any time, anywhere. The wonders of modern
technology!

Needless to say, most of us are aware of health/emotional benefits of
keeping fit and trim. Who wouldn't like to look like

picture perfect models on TV and the movies! Unfortunately (rather
fortunately), there aren't many rippling love handles,

triple chins and extra wide rear ends in swimsuits on Baywatch! Yet, those
picture perfect people seem to be so different

from us. The more we strive to be like them, the more we find we are
different.

Like a dog that's pooped on the rug, many of us experience feelings of
internal guilt and frustration when it comes to our

weight and diet. We know we're supposed to eat healthy foods and exercise,
yet we do what comes naturally - eat the wrong

foods.

For the past twenty years, my personal solution to an increasing weight
problem was to visit the local Champion outlet and

buy XL sweat pants with an elastic waste - problem solved, on to Burger
King! The whole country is now catering to bigger

bottomed people in movie theaters, airplanes, buses, and cars. Why lose
weight when the world is accomodating people like

us?! For me, I finally decided I wanted to begin enjoying LIFE.

-------------------------------------------
Catalyst

At my heaviest two years ago regulary eating fast food, I had shortness of
breath after walking up a flight of stairs

followed by chest pain. A life changing moment. The emergency physician
told me I had elevated blood pressure/cholesterol

levels and was on the cusp of serious future complication.

A wake up call - I decided my blind arrogance wasn't doing me any favors
and the tasty junk food I regulary ate was going to

get me a big heart attack and a fast death. I was scared.

Obesity is a serious epidemic in America. People are dying earlier and
facing a wide range of health complications such as

Diabetes and heart failure. Overweight young children have a higher
likelyhood of becoming overweight adults.

It is unrealistic to expect everyone in America to give up junk food and get
on the treadmill. However, people can take the

first step in improving the quality and length of their lives by making
positive choices. In the 15 minutes to read this

book and the 15 minutes I ask you spend each day reviewing my tips, you will
make a small, albeit powerful choice to lose

weight and improve your health.

There is no single answer or "silver bullet" to achieving your personal
goals. 15 minutes is not much time and I certainly

feel more time should be dedicated to improving yourself. However, we live
in busy times and 15 minutes is better than

nothing.

Take some, all or none of my suggestions below, I have no doubt you will
find the right path.

The thousand mile journey begins with the first step - and I am pleased to
take it with you.

Is spamming newsgroups one of them?
