I wonder if the root cause of the complusiveness that causes some people to
eat obsessively to the point where they are in the 900+ lbs. club will be
proven to be something like an infection or an antibody such as those this
article discusses. There has to be somethig going on with those people
which conventional wisdom and medicine is not dealing with. The article
doesn't mention morbid obsesity but if other kinds of OCD could be caused by
a strep infection so could it. It might even be a cause of the
garden-variety obesity that I have. It's something to think about!
