With this in mind you can disregard my ffid comment.

Well it is ok if u can let me know about that ... i m curious..

FFID ... pardon my potty mouth english here.. Fat F*ck in denial. It
is a term used to define a person who is in denial over their weight gain
and think that their weight gain is caused by some magical, mythical source.
They think their weight gain is totally unlike anyone else out there. Most
times these people can be stubborn and rude about it here. Generally they
are stupid idiots who are not willing to open their eyes to their lifestyle
and see what exactly is causing the weight gain. I thought you may be one
of those type of people from a couple of your comments at first, but then I
realized that your only problem is a slight miscommunication due to the
language barrier.

I think you get what has been happening to you. You are becoming
complaicent now that you are married and that has been allowing you to eat
more, exercise less and gain a little weight.

I will be surely keeping a note of the food I am consuming every day.
I will also keep a watch at my weight. I will I should consider buying
a weight scale to keep at home. That should do a lot good.

Are there any other suggestions I should consider.

Do you have any way for formal exercise? (running, working out, playing
ball with the friends... something like that). Can you go for a long walk
in the evening with your wife? Something to bring some form of physical
activity that gets your heart rate pounding for an hour at a time, at least
4 days a week.

You probably don't have to buy a scale. Your clothing will certainly be an
indicator to weight gain or loss (if they are too tight, you are eating too
much, if they are loss, you are doing ok).

If you don't see an improvement in weight loss, then eat even less. You
will have to find that point where your food intake and exercise level
matches the calories your body needs in order to maintain your weight.

I am in this money making stuff for the last 3 years and got married
to a nice women as a result of that, but that has made me bulky. I
used to play table tennis with out fail and also participated in lot
of tournaments. But, not things are different. The routine is this
way..

1. Wake up
2. Take Bath
3. Pray to God
4. Eat Breakfast (Black Tea/White tea with 4-5 biscuts)
5. Go to office
6. Start the computer and work
7. Eat cooked spicy rice
8. Start to home
9. Eat a little sized burger
10. Reach Home
11. Take a short rest
12. Eat Dinner (Rice with some Dal, Curd) (some times it's heavy 3
times a week)
13. Go to sleep

This is all my routine.. I don't know why should I be putting weight
at all? If I quit even this I should faint.

Remember, my wife is eating the same stuff I am eating and she has
reduced by 1 kg. She was around 45 before marriage and now she's
43-44.. I am some times worried for her, I ask her to take more milk.
But, I've added weight with almost the same diet.

what's happening?

If a person's diet increases by 250 calories per day, which isn't much food
at all, they would gain 1kg per month. That's something like an extra few
tablespoons of rice, three times a day.

If you want to lose weight, I suggest this:

Measure the amount of rice you eat using a cup or a scale. After you get a
good idea of how much you eat, slightly reduce the portion size. If your
weight starts to go down, you know you're doing well. If it stays the same
or starts to go up, then further reduce the portion size.

You should probably measure all of your food each day.

You are doing the right thing. If you keep on this upswing, ten years from
now you will be very sorry.

I notice that there is no exercise in your schedule. If you want a lifetime
of good health and happiness with your wife -- which I wish for you -- then
you'd better start to exercise.

If I may give my opinion, don't worry about your wife's weight unless you
talk to a doctor first. It is better that she is a little underweight than a
little overweight. She may gain some after you two have kids.

All the Best!

You are right about this, there's no exercise in my routine.. But,
there's no time.. I am gone too far into this cycle.. I am not at all
feeling the energy to exercise. at times I make my mind and exercise
but then i don't make that.. always.

I just take 200 - 300 spot jumps, do you think that's sufficient...
there's no enough room for the skipping rope to have a free flow...

spot jumps just like I used to do skipping!!!

does that help, is this itself enough?

Thank God, I was wondering if she is facing some problem... She is
absolutely healthy.. ya may be she works far more than me.. in her
regular routine..

That is an excuse. If you wanted to exercise you would make time to do so.

In your schedule, you sleep, eat and work. No time for your wife? No time
for your personal interests? I don't believe you. I've seen your website and
I know you're a newlywed.

Besides, if you gave up 30 minutes of sleep and did 30 minutes of exercise,
every day, you would feel more rested and more energetic.

I have no idea what would or would not be an appropriate amount of exercise
for you. I do know, however, that you eat more than you exercise or you
wouldn't be gaining weight.

Thank God

Yes, every day!

) that's pretty clear and straight, you are right about that... I
can exercise regularly if I want to .. but that's all about putting
that extra... in you and do a little of exercise..

disaster...
