The Paleo Diet
In the morning, some sausage and eggs. 1 piece of fruit. Sometimes I'll have
flax cereal with fruit midmorning. This isn't strictly Neaderthin, but he does mention flax capsules, so I'm not far off. Lunch: 5-6 oz. meat, and veggies in a salad with some olive oil another piece of fruit. Dinner 6-8 oz meat and a salad. Perhaps another piece of fruit. For snacks, nuts or seeds sometimes some jerky or sausage snack. I'm losing 1-2 lbs a week. A typical day's breakdown would be something like: 1900 calories. 64.2 carb. 21.6 fiber. 156.2 protien. 125.5 fat. 29.3 sat fat which brings my sat fat to about 13% of my daily calories. I'm 5'10 and 226 lbs. |
