How can I force fat wife to lose weight

Q: Where are the fat old people?
A: They are dead. There are no fat old people.

Diabetes, Stroke, Cardiac, joint aches, hypo-thyroidism, etc.
Being obese has signifigant and profound medical consequences.
I had a cousin who died at 47.
She was overweight her whole adult life and continued to gain weight
every year.
Stroke got her.

Your wife doesn't care about herself, you or the children.
If she did, she would lose the weight so as to not make you a Widower
and her offspring motherless.

If she lives to 50 she will be very lucky.

Obesity, with very few exceptions, is not a disease. One simply needs
to stop putting so much food in their cake hole, and get some exercise
to correct it. Stop acting like she is helpless. Sticking with your
wife when she gets cancer for example is not that same as sticking
with them if they refuse to do something about their obesity. Obesity
is a choice, cancer, et. al., is not.

The exact opposite reasoning is why I spent a few years of my life as a
Foster Parent. Would you take on a responsibility that's practically
guaranteed to break you're heart, time after time?

What the hell does that have to do with obese women? I mean, its great
you're a foster parent and all, but its irrelevant.

Using your own terminology, if you aren't "partners" in everything in a
marriage, then you're just two people sharing a home.

So the husband has to pork out too? No thanks.

That does not make it morally right .

I'm not speaking in the legal sense. I mean morally. If its moral to
divorce them for substance abuse (which I think it is) then abuse of
food should be included.

I agree with you there. Plenty of people stop bad habits before they're at
"rock bottom." I was 50-60 pounds overweight when I started working out
and doing low-carb, I didn't have to wait until I was 100 or 200 pounds

"Rock Bottom" is different for everyone. For me, I knew it was time to
take control when I hit 180 (I'm 5'8.5"). For others, maybe it would
have been 200 lbs, or even 250. Everyone's different, but I believe
that weight loss is only going to happen when you know the time's
right for you.

This guys seems like a troll to me. But, if he's not, might I suggest
he get his wife's doctor involved? Perhaps the Dr. could strongly
suggest to his wife that unless she does something now, she's going to
start having problems - and soon.

If you love a person they are never "ugly". You on the other hand are very

time you told her she was beautiful, that she was a great mother, had a

You're fat too, aren't you? If its ok to divorce someone for substance
abuse when its drugs or alcohol, I see no reason you should not be
able to divorce them when they abuse food. Sometimes its best to dump
someone even when you love them if they're harming themselves and/or

The alcoholic parallel is one I've been using for years to explain
to women just how utterly revolting fat pig women are to most men.
