Default Best Jam?

I am starting to collect recipes to use during the holidays and was planning
on making the cranberries with raspberry jam from the Atkins site. The
recipe recommends Steel brand but I have never tried it I was wondering if
anybody has a recommendation of low carb jam they have tried and liked.

I like Steele's cherry & haven't opened my champagne-peach yet. My
fav, tho is Jok N Al's plum, which has great taste & non-jello-y
consistency, but always seems to be on back-order... boo hoo

Hi----
I might try LC cranberry sauce made with splenda.
I hope the recipe is not in the book I sold on Amazon.

I used to buy Estee diabetic jam, because it didn't have aspartame,
but they seem to have discontinued it recently. I've never heard of
the Steel.

I've posted a cranberry relish recipe (similar to that sold at Boston
Market) the past few years, you should be able to find it on google.
Also a sausage stuffing recipe that we like very much.

There is also an entire lowcarb Thanksgiving menu (don't remember original
author) that is usually reposted every year.

I use the pumpkin pie recipe on Libby's canned pumpkin, substituting
Splenda for sugar and heavy cream for evaporated milk.

I have some in my fridge right now and it's great, especially on the side
with rotisserie chicken. This is from Dana Carpender's 500 Recipe Low Carb
book. I have added a half teaspoon of orange extract and I used a 1/4 cup
Diabetisweet in addition to the Splenda because it was a bit too tart for
me. I'm going to either make or buy some low carb marshmallows to mix in my
cranberry sauce and add some walnuts to make it a bit fancier for the
holidays FTR, you can make a half bag of berries and use half amounts for
the rest of the ingredients for a smaller batch. Freeze the other half of
the cranberries for later or another recipe.

1 bag fresh cranberries (12 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon plain gelatin
1 cup water
1 cup Splenda

Dissolve gelatin in a half cup of the water. Place everything together in a
saucepan over medium heat and boil hard until the cranberries pop. Makes 2
cups. Store in fridge. Each 2 tablespoon serving is 3 effective carb grams.
