Wow, Deb! Thanks so much for noticing! I'm nervous about making too
much of it because of my recent history of losing, gaining, losing,
gaining, etc. But I'm a pretty happy camper today. Let's see what happens
next Thursday. crossing fingers and shutting pie hole

Here, here Carol! That's great! After you were worried about not
being able to lose on your current medication, you lost FOUR pounds
already? I'd say you have empowered yourself!

Congrats,
Michelle

See what can happen when you work on one important
thing...sometimes other things just start to take care of
themselves.

Have a wonderful evening.

Thank you, Michelle. I'm trying really hard. And Bernstein is stricter
than Atkins, and more structured. That is possibly why I seem to be doing
better now. I have ADHD, and structure is vital for me to accomplish
anything. You'd scream if you saw all the dirty dishes in my kitchen!

Yup, they do. I'm still not happy with my blood sugar levels, but at least
with Bernstein, they're lower than they've been in a long time.

Have a wonderful evening.

You too! Thanks, JJ.

The resumption of weight loss is great, but what really makes me happy
for you is you appear to be back on track vis-a-vis your mood lately.
I'm so glad to see that. :-)
On a side note, did all that stuff with the ex-friend get cleared up?

Take care,
Carmen

Thanks, Carmen. My doctor dramatically increased my Lamictal, and has me
taking Klonopin morning, afternoon, and bedtime. Those changes made all
the difference in the world. I'm so glad that I was born during the age of
psychotropic pharmaceuticals.

He's still my friend, but just barely. Seems he started taking Adderal
about the time he stopped paying my bills. He's SO focused. So
single-minded on his career that he has neglected virtually every other
aspect of his life. It's really sad.

Most of the utilities are caught up now. I'm working on a re-payment plan
with my mortgage company. I think we'll be finalizing it on the phone
tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Thanks for your encouragement, Carmen.
