Thanks, Saffire. Here's hoping that the next week will show more loss.
I've gotten so used to yo-yo-ing that I'm ready to re-name myself Duncan.

Heh, took me a moment to get that one :-) Ah, memories :-)

Heehee! I hoped someone would catch that!

I've been stuck for about 6 weeks, but it does my heart good to see YOU making
progress!

Thanks again. I'm placing a special order for the Whoosh Fairy to come to
your house. :-)

Default Look at you, Damsel!

I have missed alot of posts recently.. if I recall correctly Damsel, you are
diabetic and on insulin.. and you were having a hard time losing...? Hub had
to go on insulin a couple months ago, he is on Lantus. He's gained back 13
pounds since.. granted, it's still hard to get him to eat properly or to
keep him from OVEReating even the ok stuff... but even before the insulin,
doing something bad once in awhile didn't hurt him much.. he'd stall a bit
but get right back into losing. I also know part of his problem is that he
won't bother to get off his @ss and exercize once in awhile. I am just
wondering what you did to kick start youself back into the swing of things.
I hate feeling like I have to be the food-cop around here. I don't buy
*crap* food to keep around. I have managed to lose 46 pounds since last
August, but it's easier for me.. I don't have as many problems with some of
the things HE shouldn't be eating. My loss has been on the slower side, but
even if I decide to eat the baked potato on my plate when we go out, at most
lately I just bloat up a bit because I put salt on it but it doesn't put me
into any major stall or set off a binge. He cannot do that. I do my best to
not eat in front of him if it's something he can't have. I end up feeling
like I am dealing with a child! But the things is, it's easier for me to get
the kids to eat right!! I feel like that even with all my efforts to help
him, I am still doing something wrong.. any ideas?? Or if anyone else has
dealt with this, I need HELP!

Wow, Deb! Thanks so much for noticing! I'm nervous about making too
much of it because of my recent history of losing, gaining, losing,
gaining, etc. But I'm a pretty happy camper today. Let's see what

happens
next Thursday. crossing fingers and shutting pie hole

Thank you, Michelle. I'm trying really hard. And Bernstein is
stricter
than Atkins, and more structured. That is possibly why I seem to

be doing
better now. I have ADHD, and structure is vital for me to

accomplish
anything. You'd scream if you saw all the dirty dishes in my

kitchen!

Nah, I'd probably feel right at home! I love cluttered, homey (how
the heck do you spell that?) houses. I think I have ADD, without
the H. I can't seem to remember anything and get distracted so
easily! I sometimes wander aimlessly throughout my house, trying to
figure out why it was so important to me to head to one of the
rooms. I wish I was hyper too - I might lose some weight that way!

I'm diabetic and on 1000mg Metformin ER per day. Yes, I've had a hard time
losing. Now I'm following Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution as well as I
can, while waiting for the revised version to arrive. Only time will tell
how this will work out, weight-wise, but it's bringing my blood sugars
down. Not as far as I want them to be, but enough to keep my doctor happy.

It's a helluva way to live, isn't it? I forget which website I was looking
for when I just change windows on my computer. Unless I have time to
formulate sentences in writing, I'm a total disaster. I can't remember
simples words, including once, my own daughter's name. This kind of thing
makes me cry a lot.

My hyperactivity is mostly manifested by constantly bouncing my legs, and
by scurrying all over the house for various reasons, frequently not
remembering why by the time I get somewhere.
