another Northern Virginia restaurant
I sent my last message too soon, there's another restaurant that I'd recommend
to low carbers. http://www.sobeseafood.com/ SoBe is short for South Beach, but the restaurant means it in the sense of light atmosphere and seafood with a Caribbean touch. However, I had the best salad of my life there a couple of weeks ago. http://www.sobeseafood.com/menus/salads.html The Key West salad looked appealing, but I wondered how much pineapple and apple were in it. I ordered it anyway, with jerk shrimp, and it was wonderful. Very little fruit, but enough to keep it interesting. And I love their jerk shrimp. The salad was huge, but not to the point where it was half wasted. And I didn't feel like I was looking at a big bowl of lettuce. It was just right in every respect.
