Default Fallen of the wagon

Hi

Disastorous weekend, after weeks (8 or 9) of maintaining & no weightloss, I
went downhill over the weekend with a pizza binge, pizza friday, pizza
saturday, takeaway pizza & garlic bread & chips Sunday, today beef & onion
pie & chips from the fish & chip shop takeaway.

Was also drunk yesterday, Sunday,1 litre wine to myself ;-(

I feel really disgusted with myself, I haven't been to gym since last
Thursday either ;-)

I know it is normal to fall of the diet once in a whilst but I really really
just gave up this weekend, I don't even know why I did it or continued it
today!!!!!!!

Fresh start tomorrow............. appointment with gym & signing up for the
1 mile charity run next month to get me focused on something.........

Remember that binges like this cancel out very many days of sensible
dieting.

I wouldn't say that, Gary... you're getting back on the horse faster
than you have in former days, aren't you? Maintaining a healthy
lifestyle takes practice - don't beat yourself up too much!

Heck - a couple of times this summer I haven't just fallen off the
wagon...I have wrecked the wagon- but the most important thing is to
find your way out of it and get back to your 'good' days!
Was anything you ate that tasty and great?? When I am into the bad food
I am always amazed that things don't taste fantastic but if I plan for
a special treat it is always great.
Always remember that tomorrow is a new day!
Best of luck!

D
Grateful for a few good days after a disasterous last week :-)

Oh well, you've got past this before so I've no doubt you can again.
Just add a few more minute exercise each day and you'll cancel it out
in no time

But, was it good wine?

Most people here use lbs unless otherwise stated. I kind of doubt
Gary's goal weight would be 175 kg (about 385 lbs).

My numbers below are definitely in lbs. I would not be happily
maintaining my weight in the 130 kg (282 lb.) range :-).

Disastorous weekend

I did the same thing Father's Day weekend. No big deal. It took
about 5-6 days to undo it, and now I'm back on track.

Don't let one bad moment destroy everything.

Hi D

Actually the food was not enjoyable due to the feelings of guilt, but I just
could not stop myself.

Good day today though & feeling better about myself.

breakfast 2 rounds wholemeal dry toast
lunch Roast Turkey, peas, carrots, 5 small roast potatoes & small sage &
onion stuffing

banana for afternoon break

Haven't yet decided about tea, but possibly chicken salad ;-)

Thanks for all your positive comments. Jopefully can soon turn weekend
around again....
