Default Sugarbusters & South Beach-how are they different?

I realize south beach has an initial 2 wk period of lower carbs, but
after that, what's the difference? I know more about Sugar Busters than
the South Beach diet but from what I've read, am I correct that they're
similar other than 1st two wks on South Beach's reduces carb intake, and
after that, you start adding carbs in and assess if you're losing, and
if not, cut back? Any other differences?

Southbeach is not easy if you don't like cottage and ricotta cheese.

I starved.

There is no reason why you have to follow the menu plans. You can
feel free to use you own recipes that fit within the guidelines or
to pick only the recipes you want.

Agatston does not say you have to use egg substitute. You can
feel free to use eggs "unless otherwise directed by your doctor".
