Default Fun Weekend, but damn...up 4 Pounds

Had a lttle bit (pronounced LOTS) of a cheating weekend, and have GAINED 4
pounds. Was a lot of fun with family and friends, but sure is a let down and
big disappointment when you get on the scale Monday AM.

Had some slices of bread in olive oil at a restaurant Friday night and some
Tiramasu for dessert. Some crackers (9-10) with dip Saturday evening. A
large bag of cheezies (don't ask) yesterday. Between Friday and Saturday
night, I probably drank about 2 bottles of red wine. I think the real
kicker was some Vanilla Vodka and coke last night, which I think now was not
diet coke, like it was supposed to be....Had 3 large glasses....so probably
drank the equivelant of 3 cans of coke. This one was a real accident....I
really meant that to be low carb.

So...now I'm ****ed.....I even feel fat again. Well.....back to it!

Stick with it everyone....

It's an ongoing process, this conversion to low carb living. I don't
think I will ever "conquer" carbs. If I don't think is pass/fail terms
its easier to adjust my diet as needed.

Indeed its not a diet its an entire lifestye.

I had a similar experience early this year. Took a 5 day vacation to Vegas.
My downfall was the free alcohol - Southern Comfort to be specific. Came
back 5 lbs. heavier. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it
came back off. I suspect it was mostly water weight. Hope your gain comes
off as easily.
