Temptation
CHEW GUM
BRUSH YOUR TEETH SOAK FINGERTIPS IN LISTERINE PUT THE LITTLE BITS AND BITES IN A TUPPERWARE CONTAINER INSTEAD OF IN YOUR MOUTH. YOU CAN KEEP DOING THE FIRST PART OF THE HABITUAL ACTION, BUT PUT THEM IN THE CONTAINER, NOT YOUR MOUTH. YOU CAN EAT ALL OF THIS STUFF AS PART OF ANOTHER APPROPRIATE MEAL AT MEAL TIME. "Cox SMTP east" wrote in message ... Does anyone have any suggestion on dealing with temptation while cooking? I have no problems with my food intake all day until I hit the kitchen to fix dinner. Then, it's just slice, dice, shred etc etc....taste, taste taste. The nutritionist suggested that I eat before I cook for the kids, but then I still have to get my stuff together which means I am still in the kitchen messing with food. Frankly, I would just as soon not cook or be in the kitchen. Plus, sometimes the thought of preparing food twice just makes me crazy....I really don't like cooking one dinner a day...two is just too much sometimes. My husband is a great cook, but he has been working so much lately, he isn't even home for dinner Mon-Thursday. so his helping is not an option. Thanks for any input. Elise. |
