I tried on the gown I wore in 2001 that's in my after picture and it would not zip up from the middle of my back where you hook your bra but fit everywhere else. My bust measurement is about an inch and a half larger, equal to the gap in the dress. It seems a strange place for gained weight to go. My first reaction was intense anger at myself. I am trying to get sorted out. Then I'll need to borrow or shop or stay home from the big fat sleek wedding Oct. 11. Right now i could crawl into a hole but if it measures less than 39" I can't get out. Can you get the dress altered? No ANd how are you doing after your little doc visit this week? Are you confusing me with my daughter? (That would be nice) She goes to Dr. Bernstein and has now lost 20 pounds fast.) i do not, can not, would not except in fantasies. He gives injections which I can and would not take. But I never give up and will fit into that dress for June 2004 for a special event. did your daughter post earlier this week about having to go on a fast because of an upcoming colonoscopy to have more polups removed and is allergic to the drink they give to clean out the system so had to go on the self cleansing fast. The fast means soft foods for a few days followed by liquids for 24 hours. That won't happen for a couple of weeks and no prior visit to a doctor is required so I didn'tunderstand your reference. The colonoscopy is the day before the wedding and usually leaves me with pretty sore insides for a few days. Tonight was most unpleasant. An out of town guest insisted on taking me to her favorite restaurant in appreciation for staying at my place. I ordered soup, the waiter admitted it had MSG. I ordered spareibs. The waiter acknowledged all were made with barbecue sauce containing sugar and MSG. I ordered asparagus. The waiter cautioned it was made with some kind of cornstarch in the sauce. He brought the others sliced potatoes, French Fried battered onions and lobsters. i was embarrased to order a steak the smallest costing $37.50 since someone else was picking up the tab. I pleaded flu (not an exaggeration) and fled home early for two slices of Emmanthal cheese and the season premiere finale of "Will and Grace." Basically I find restaurants usually more of a trial than a pleasure and am getting progressively more cranky these days or ****y or crabby or downright miserable and snappish. |

But I do go by my clothing sizes. I am wearing the smallest pants I own and within this last two weeks I have can feel where I am losing weight from my body by the way these tight pants are getting looser. There are some area which are smaller than others. It kind of interested me on where it is coming off the most. It seems the fat collects on certain areas. Monte |
