Default sort-of good day

My first relevant comment on the day was I thought again that I
looked just awful when I looked in the mirror today--wrinkles
where there were none, wattles, etc. (Yes, I have told my
daughter she needs to take my pic--maybe she'll get around to it
over her vacation.) Anyway, I was sort-of bummed out about that.

But then I decided to brave the mall, because I have no pants that
fit well right now, and my pants are falling down. (If I were a
teen, I might like that look, but I'm not and I don't.) I had
been buying size 18 pants and started having trouble fitting into
them. And some of the pants that are falling down are 16s and
14s. Well, I actually fit into some 8s and 10s much to my
surprise. Now I have to think that this store (J. Jill) must size
things ultra-large, because the pants I have been wearing are just
not that old, but still, that was very nice. Unfortunately, none
of the pants did the trick--some just didn't hang right, and the
legs were much too wide for me. Others lacked back pockets, etc.
So no purchases, but it still was a nice experience.
