I am quite happy with the results I got, but i wonder whether I could
do more.
I lost 8 lbs, starting from 165.
Now I weight 157.
I have big muscles in my legs, which I like.
I can run for 1 hour continously.
Since I started from nothing, this is the best result I got, I think.
I also think exercise will consume more calories, since when I started
I could not run for more than 100 meters.
I am fit.
I feel good.
I look much better.
I still have a lot of fat, though I like much more to watch me in the
mirror (I just could not).
What should I aim to in the next 3 months?
Would losing 8 lbs be a reasonable goal or should I aim to a better
result since I am running 5 times a week?
I think that in the spring I could do some cross training, like
swimming or playing tennis.

Do you think so?
Are these not poor results?
I thought i could at least lose 10 lbs in three months.

I am amazed at your running prowess.

So am I.
I was a couch potato.

Try writing down what you eat, for a week (maybe use fitday),

As a metric person, fitday drives me crazy with all the cups and onces
and large and medium slice of anything.
And I do not trust any more sites and their erratic measures.
I look at Chris Braun's food intake and I can tell I eat more. :-)

and then
adjust the quantity to eat 15% less calories. Mostly reduce the least
nutritious carbs, as it makes appetite control easier tyhan reducing
fat or protein.

I'll try eating 15% more than Chris Braun does :-)

Estella, you were not that fat, right? How tall are you?

163 cm, I think that should be 5'4''.

Dropping a
lot of weight quickly is much easier for fat people than for less fat
people. I dropped 47-48 lbs in 100 days, which is not to say that
going so fast was a good idea. That's partly because I was fat, and
partly because I am a man, and partly because I probably had a bigger
calorie deficit than you.

If losing 10 more pounds is all you need (depending on your body
height and constitution), then taking 3 months to do it is not a bad
idea. There is no hurry, really, since there is no big great reward at
the end anyway. At the end, you will still have to eat limited amount
of food and exercise.

There is a reward.
I think looking healthy can help me with my job.

I sincerely hope that you do not develop knee problems due to running
so much. I know that I cannot run so much due to knee issues,
otherwise I would be running every day.

I do not know.
I think I will do some cross training in the spring.
I love playing tennis and swimming.
But will I be able to exercise every day?

Running is a good daily exercise, but if it gets as hot as last
summer, I do not think I will be able to run.

Another goal - cross training. Upper body workouts. Calisthenics.

Cross training is a good thing, as it uses your muscles in different
ways. Doing the same thing over and over again tends to make the
muscles just get used to the motion and they don't have to work as
hard at it any longer.

I'm thinking of a good cross training I can do every day.
I must find something.
I won't be able to run if it get as hot as last summer.

Running in the early mornings or late evenings?

I've got a friend who goes running every day at lunch - on a 5 mile
run, even thru the summer.

Incredible!
