Lunch
I'm still struggling to empty my freezer before we move.
Lunch: Frozen: 10 shrimps 1/2 cup pepper strips 1/4 cup corn 1 can diced tomatoes (drained) Chicken broth (enough to cover it all up). Throw everything in the pot with cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper and a little saffran. Cook a few minutes (until shrimps are done). Et voila. Surprisingly it was very good, and huge for about 3-4 pts. -- ***** "It's kinda fun to do the impossible." Walt Disney |

Ship of canned goods went down in the harbour close to where she lived. All the paper labels came off the cans, so no-one knew what was in them. You could buy a few at a time (priced by weight, but no ration coupons needed), but had to guess what was in them by shape. Ham and Spam were usually a reasonable bet, but plain standard shaped cans could be anything from peaches to beef stew! So the kids got to pick a can, and whatever was opened the meal was built round that... -- Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.katedicey.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
