Hypnosis and Affirmation audio recordings, plus Visualization
I've been using hypnosis and affirmation audio recordings lately to
get myself to diet and exercise. Before I did these things, I was eating sweets every 2 or 3 days and I was eating a mix of healthy and unhealthy foods. I wasn't exercising at all. I was slowly gaining weight. So then I decided to use these audio recordings I had for losing weight. One was a hypnosis recording. Another had lots of affirmations on it. What I do is lay in bed, relax, close my eyes, and listen to these recordings. Then the things they say go into your subconscious mind, which programs you to diet, exercise and lose weight. I also have another audio recording which guides you through visualization and I visualize being slim, at my ideal weight, and I imagine how that looks and feels. Since I started doing these things, I lost 10 pounds in about 2 weeks. I've been exercising a lot. I now walk 4 miles/day about 4 times per week. I also work out with dumbbells. I keep my eating down. I eat only healthy food, like fruits, vegetables, and meat. I quit eating sweets. I don't eat any bread or pastries or anything made out of flour. I don't eat refined sugar anymore. I take nutritional supplements, such as fish oil, chromium picolinate, vitamin D, B vitamin complex, etc. I eat a lot of salads and fruit smoothies made with blueberries, etc. And I also use green tea extract pills and I drink green tea to further boost my metabolism. I think my metabolism must be going pretty good now. Sometimes my weight goes down by a whole pound in an hour or two just while I'm sitting down at my computer. I can also feel food digesting very quickly in my stomach, whereas it used to take a lot longer to digest food. My stomach now tends to become empty pretty fast. I also keep using my hypnosis, affirmation, and visualization audio recordings every 2 or 3 days to refresh my mental programming and motivation, otherwise I might quit losing weight. I think this time I'm really going to make it all the way to my ideal weight. In the last few years I've learning a lot about controlling and improving my own mind to get rid of depression and be more successful financially. Now I'm using a similar approach to losing weight. I also write down each day how much I weigh so I can keep total track of my progress. I learned from Brian Tracy that when you keep track of something with numbers, that helps you make progress. I also bought a new digital scale, which is much more accurate and easy to use than my old analog scale. Right now I don't have any cravings to overeat, or to eat any sweets or sugar, and I actually enjoy exercising. It feels really good. My affirmations recording is supposed to make you love to exercise, and it actually has made me love to exercise! In fact I'm going to buy some more exercise equipment. Also when I see sweets at the supermarket, I immediately tell myself that it is poisonous, awful crap that will do great harm to me (which is true). I don't let myself think about sweets and junk food in pleasurable terms. This helps me stay off them. But I do think about being fit and slim and exercising in pleasurable terms. I associate these things with pleasure and enjoyment in my mind. I also changed my mental programming so that I enjoy being responsible and achieving great things for myself and improving myself in every way. I now dislike being irresponsible, lazy, and wasting my time on frivolous pursuits. I quit watching TV and playing video games. I spend more time working on my business, decluttering my house, etc. I have a clear, detailed vision of all my goals. Losing weight is purely a mind game. If your mind is in the right state, you can lose weight easily. If not, it's impossible. So I think using hypnosis, affirmations, and visualization are a great way to get your mind into the right state and to keep it there by repeating the mental programming on a regular basis. Another thing I started doing is when I go for my long walks, I say out loud some affirmations while I'm walking. I say things like "I am healthy, slim, physically fit, and beautiful" and other positive statements about myself and how I want to be. When you say these affirmations, they should be in the personal and present tense. That's why I begin them with "I am." You have to imagine you're already the way you want to be. When you repeat these things over and over on a frequent basis, it goes into your subconscious mind, which eventually believes these things and then makes you behave in ways that turn these statements into reality. Whatever you say and believe about yourself becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you hang around toxic people who say bad things about you, that goes into your subconscious mind and programs you to do worse in your life. But if you stay away from those toxic people and you say and believe positive things about yourself, it programs your subconscious so that you do better in your life. You should never say negative things about yourself, lest you program yourself to manifest those things in reality. You should think positive thoughts about yourself so that you'll manifest a positive reality which is beneficial to yourself. |
