I joined quickly, too.

Yes, the next "few" months present a series of challenges. Christmas
the worst since there seem to be a neverending supply of parties and
open houses and FOOD! At least Thanksgiving is really that one day
and maybe a leftover or two (G)

You are still under goal and you know there are those small
meaningless fluctuations. And you also know why. So overall - fine
job

I feel your pain, Lesanne: Being up half a pound ain't no fun.

BUT you have an idea about the reason for it and are taking steps to
reverse the trend. Seems that every step of the way contains important
lessons and every time one is learned, a new lesson pops up to take
its place. Guess that's why we consider this a way of living!
Congratulations on still being a willing student. You're doing great!

Actually I kind of hate maintenance. I am staying more or less the same
weight as I was when I started the 6 weeks, one week left to go, and my plan
was to lose another 2 or 3 during those weeks. Oh well. I am glad I am
maintaining.

You don't know until you try, Lesanne, isn't that the fun/scary part of
Maintenance? You done good, keep it up!

I can certainly see your point Lesanne, also even in Texas we may not want
to WI in shorts, t-shirt and sandals in the winter. :-)

I do want to be more than .4 under my goal though, just in case. This is

a
great time for me to watch my average weight chart though. It had me

losing
a fraction this week. Their scale is much flakier than mine as a general
rule, which is why I need a little space in there. No telling when theirs
might be wieghing 3 or 4 heavy and if I am right at goal, I would have to
pay. Paying is Bad. Free is Good. Considering where I started, I love

my
weight where it is now, but I do need a little safety net.

Ah .6 is still close enough for maintainers :-)

Thanks for the reminder Sonya, and yeah, I scare myself when I catch a
mirror image sometimes, from the corner of my eye... who is that??

0.6 is barely a gain at all! I just checked out your sig line, and your
numbers are amazing! You must be feeling fantastic at this point.

I am glad we have a bit of flexibility about when we weigh in. Down here
Every month has at least one warm Saturday

Ah, but you may decide to "weight" too long. I go for the first WI
day of the month if I think I will make it! (G)

But it is amazing if you manage the first WI very early in the month,
you really have almost TWO months till the next WI (the last of the
next month). That can either be an advantage or
disadvantage..........

haha, weight too long. I am sure that I am going to go for the first
Satrurday each month. Heck, the reason I got here was to have that
motivation to stay here. I have really used the scale daily also to be sure
that there is not an up trend going on. I don't have any problem with
eating my target points for a few days until any pesky pound goes off. I am
having a problem motivating myself to go down another 5 tho.
