Thank you all for your understanding and support!

I'm glad to hear that doing the program online only has been helpful for so many of you. I'm gonna keep on keepin' on, and doing what works. Coincidentally, a friend had mentioned to me the other day that she was doing WW also, and we agree to be buddies, since neither of us can handle the meetings (we weigh in at the same one). Our kids are in a playgroup together on Mondays, and part of our plan is to save 2 pts for a light beer on that day so we can go for a drink when they are in their group.

So thanks again. Perhaps I'll become a regular poster; perhaps I'll just lurk. Seems like a friendly place here. I remember being on alt.support.diet years back, and god, what a nightmare.

This is a much more supportive newsgroup, we pretty much ignore the agitators and stick to the program, so there is a lot less controversy. Hope you will hang out here, it helps.

Man, I was there YEARS ago when this Jet woman was there, antagonizing
everyone. She then started stalking me on line. It was tres creepy.

I guess it's nice to know that some things never change. Do you know
if
Cowboy, Rosie, and Diva are still there?

I think I managed to miss Jet...although I know a lot of people talked about
missing her.

How could anyone in their right mind miss her!!! She would go on and on
about phen-fen (which was the craze back then).

She did some really hateful things to me, including sending me articles on
SIDS when I was pregnant. I got her kicked off her ISP. Had I not been in
a foreign country at the time, I would have been scared for my life. This
was all before Hotmail, yahoo, and other anonymous email addresses.

BTW, Clay is now MissLo2004, in case anyone is interested.
