Presidents Challenge UPDATE 11-1-04
We are up to 21 members now!
7 in the Active Lifestyle program, 13 in the Presidential Champions program and 1 in the Presidential Performance program. It's Monday and a new week! Lots of activities count! Even stretching! Even cleaning the toilet counts under household tasks! Unfortunately, sitting at the computer and typing is NOT one of the things that counts... so let's all get up if we can and get active! I hope to, soon as I'm done posting this epic... G Anyway, as a whole... our group has earned a whopping 74023 points since we started two weeks ago! That's a nice improvement this week, since last week we only had 30456 points! I was asked if I could tally the minutes for each activity the group has logged... and I did, but I think maybe this is the only time... or at least, I will do it rather infrequently. I'm afraid it is rather a major chore... the site does NOT do this automatically... it required clicking on everyone's ID, searching out the proper time frame, then adding up all the minutes logged for each particular activity. It is a royal pain, and hard on my eyes! However, I figured if I listed it once... people would get a fun idea of what we are up to and what the popular activities are! Maybe it will motivate someone to try something new. So here goes! Walking - 2185 minutes (WOW!) Weight training - 1370 minutes Bicycling - 1105 minutes Household Tasks - 975 minutes Pedometer - 476 minutes Running - 460 minutes Cardio Machines - 390 minutes Aerobics - 280 minutes Swimming - 225 minutes Stretching - 170 minutes Hiking/Backpacking - 155 minutes Stationary bike - 120 minutes Pilates - 100 minutes Darts - 90 minutes Volleyball - 60 minutes Circuit Training - 60 minutes Inline Skating - 45 minutes Home Repair - 30 minutes Gardening - 30 minutes Calisthenics - 20 minutes Those who think they might want to join the President's Challenge... http://www.presidentschallenge.org The group name is: Alt.Support.Diet Group number is: 23823 Have a good week everyone! Thanks for the tally, Cynthia. It's fun to see what other members are doing
