I went and did something today that will, with a bit of luck, give me
new motivation to knuckle down and get to goal. I got my belly button
pierced :-)

Now I really have to get with the program and get a belly that's truly
worthy of showing off.

(photos will be up on my website soon...ish)

You're the brave one! Are you going to post pics of that belly button for
us? I've thought about it a few times, but not much point, even at my goal
weight my belly wouldn't be worth showing off! Maybe I'll add another set
to my ears!

What a great motivator

I had a tattoo done on my upper arm a few months ago and that was
great movation to get fit enough to make it look good.

Make sure you look after it. Theres info at rec.art.bodyarts on how to
care for piercings properly. Beware though they are about as friendly
as the folk on misc.fitness.weights

Regards

Ray

I'm hoping it will be. I've been wanting it done for years but I
figured there was no point while I was obese.

Cool. What's the tattoo of? That's next on my list, but it'll probably
be years, if ever. I did enquire about price yesterday though, so
maybe one day I'll get up the courage ;-)

Thanks Ray. I've been to heaps of websites looking for tips and info,
so I think I'm sorted for now. I can also go back to the piercer and
ask for advice whenever I feel the need.

I thought about doing a belly button piercing, because I have this bit of
numb skin above my navel resulting from the twin pregnancy, but was told
that was not the "right" place! G

I do have a tattoo on my right wrist - more around my forearm, really, but
just above my wrist. I'm seriously considering another tattoo once I reach
goal, but I want to see how my skin lays then!
