question on sugar alcohols
For me, I think lactitol is the worst, then maltitol, then sorbitol. I don't
think that erythritol had any negative effects on me, so I bought a whole bag of the stuff to use in baking, but I haven't used it yet. Bob L. Anyone else/ Jackie In reasonable quantities, no problem with any of them until Hershey came out with those da_n little Reese's cups. They use lactitol and it was an "experience" to say the least. Something akin to what my grandmother would have called the "trots" and major flatulence for at least 24 hours. trebor |
