Default How Many Meals Each Day?

It varies.

How active are you? What kind of food did you eat, last time? etc.

If you made the mistake of eating foods high in sugars or simple
carbs, you'll be hungry sooner, and feeling the effects of that
hunger, much stronger as well.

That is THE reason I recommend cutting those foods out of your low
calorie diet. It takes an inhuman amount of will power to stick to a
diet, consisting of sugars and simple carbs. It's not just hard to do,
it will also make you feel *miserable* trying to do it, with a capital
"M".

Health-wise, it is also a complete disaster, with blood sugar and
insulin spiking and then dropping rapidly.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled, topic for this post

Since I'm more sedentary than active, I find two meals per day,
perfect for me. Mealtimes are also quite variable. Meal #1, might be
anywhere from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Meal #2 might be anywhere from
3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

I find eating three meals per day really is a step to having more
calories than I want when losing weight. (roughly 1500 Calories is my
daily goal).

If you're like me, and was raised with rather strict "mealtimes", you
will find this quite a freeing experience. Being obsessed with
preparing or planning a meal at each "mealtime", is right along the
same path toward being obsessed with eating, itself.

And that is definitely not a good thing.

Try freeing yourself; having a laid back attitude about "mealtimes",
in general, and about the portion size that you may have been thinking
was "normal".

Make the new "mealtimes", and portion sizes, work FOR you, instead of
against you.
