Challengers: Check in 10/22/03

I guess having your baby niece in the hospital and DH out of town is good
for weight loss. I am down to 144 today.

Unfortunately, it is stress and lack of appetite. but the good news is that
they have all but ruled out Herpes of the brain for my niece, no brain
hemorrages, the blood in her spinal fluid was probably from an earlier
lumbar puncture. so just 3 weeks of IV antibiotics and a hearing test to
make sure the meningitis didn't make her deaf and she should be just fine.

I missed previous posts on the niece but wanted you to know my heart goes
out to her and her entire family.
