Default First WI tomorrow

Its my first WI tomorrow, and to say I'm worried is an understatement lol.
What do I do if I haven't lost or have gained?? I just know I'll lose heart
and have a binge

Well binge on carrots then! ;P If you gain it will be because of what
you did LAST week, before starting WW, so don't worry about it.
Remember to take in TOM as well, if that's on the horizon.

If you have been recording properly what you eat and been anywhere
near sticking to your points you will have lost weight. But even if
you haven't lost weight it doesn't matter. You have decided to change
the way you eat for the rest of your life, thats all that matters.

The problem is that you are mainly made of water, and water is heavy.
Just a slight change in water balance can affect the scale weight
considerably more than the 1 pound a week you can lose on WW. But over
a month the effect of water is considerably smaller so you can how
much fat you are losing. Losing weight is a long slow process but you
get there eventually. I have a little cartoon at work of a frog being
swallowed by a stork. The frog just has his legs showing. He is trying
desperately to strangle the stork. The motto is "Never give up". It
applies just as much to losing weight as it does to diagnosing faults
in computers.

Good luck and let us know how much you have lost

Ray

Don't fret about the weigh in, up down or staying the same, you are
being accountable and this is the first step on the way to a healthy
lifestyle. Don't give up if you don't achieve what you want, it is a
matter of trying, stumbling, falling, getting up and dusting off to
start again. Believe me after a gain of almost 10kgs this can be hard,
but I won't give up.

if you gained, You do NOT have a binge, you get out your journals and
review, and try and figure out why and then keep on, remember you are not a
failure unless you give up completely. There are lots of reasons you might
gain, some a
1. you ate too much because you didn't calculate right-- fixed by working at
it a bit more, because you didn't journal everything, --fixed easily also,
you are one of those people who need a bit more time to bring your point
amount down to the level needed to lose, no sin just takes time and nothing
wrong with adjusting slowly since you are making permanent changes,
2 you are female-- insert ugly words like pms tom and bloating here time
fixes also
3. In my case I didn't lose because I had starved my body so when I started
eating properly my body tried to hold on to it, fixed by eating the right
amount of the right stuff, 2 years later, still lose slowly but am still
losing, Lee
I am hoping this helps
