How can it be possible to make more fat while fasting? I do not
understand, can somebody explain?
While reading some in the DADR, I came across this and I quote..."With
an abnormal metabolism, fat may be manufactured even without food.
Harvard's Dr. Jean Mayer notes in this connection that (an animal with
metobolic overweight, will make more fat even though it may not
over-eat. In fact it will make more fat even while fasting.)"
No doubt Dr. Atkins advocates this....he included it in his book.
I was remembering back when I first posted about Metobolic Resistence.
I was quickly informed that we all have Metobolic Resistence, and to Get
Over It.
Even so, this just doesn't seem right.

BTW I LOST 3 LBS THIS LAST WEEK!!

A lot of things don't make sense. This would be one of them.

Your body is the result of a million years of evolution. It has been
designed to keep you alive for your allotted years.

Ever notice how cows get fat by eating grass?

If you fast, your body will shut down a lot in order to conserve energy, and
convert whatever you take in so it can provide fuel for the next day, or
whatever.

Your best bet is to eat well and exercise.

Someone else keeps saying this, but that's JC, and nobody listens to him
anyhow.

Actually, I do believe that JC is saying "excercise more, eat LESS."
That could imply fasting - that's certainly less. I have never seen him
say "eat well." Particularly since he doesn't advocate any vegetables.
