OT - Update on Jake

What is it with cats and pianos? :-) When we feel like messing with the cats we open the lid and expose the piano keys. The cats normally jump up on the keys and then to the top of the piano (upright grand) to one of their nap spots. When the lid is up they don't notice, jump right on the keys (striking a note) and it scares the unfortunate one enough that we generally have to pull him down from the ceiling. One of these days I'll have to video tape it. Jenn |

One of my current cats, Travis, likes to roll over on his back when he sees me walking toward him, and then he wants me to rub his tummy with my foot. He will roll around in ecstasy while I do this. (I am, of course, careful not to hurt him. I only do it if I can balance with my hand on a wall or something.) Later in the day, I tried the same routine but this time, I left him high and dry and went to lay on my bed. He couldn't stand it after a few minutes and hopped up with me. After some nervous activity, he laid down and went to sleep. I think he's doing just fine! Chris |

OT - Update on Jake
That has got to be the weirdest things I ever heard of a dog doing! Did he
watch the tv or just like to change channels like a typical male? "Julianne" wrote in message The dog (Col. Waldo Wasir) would drag his wet nose along them changing the channels. Eventually, they would wet and the TV wouldn't work until they dried again. |

My Newfoundland knows with complete confidence that if she rolls her belly up all activity will halt so it can be rubbed. I practice balancing and use one foot and then the other. My husband will use the broom. If Grace thinks we haven't *seen* her belly-show, she slowly waves a paw to bid us. Pets - ya just gotta love 'em. -- Walking on . . . OT - Update on Jake
My cousins had a series of Newfoundlands (all named Doc) when we were coming
up. They were such big dogs with webbed feet! I never could love them because they scared me but I suspect they are gentle and loving if they are part of your family. j "SnugBear" wrote in message .4...
