I ordered the books that two people were kind enough to recommend. I can't
make the one meeting in my area due to other commitments.

So far, I am not very impressed with WW on line. They are out of several of
their products. I wanted to purchase one of Tracker/Point Calculators but
they are out of stock. Does anyone own one of these and do you like it?
I also use the tracker to search for points for various foods only to have
to enter all the label info and calculate the points. I couldn't find basic
foods such as a fresh, raw tomato.

As much as I may not be 100% pleased with WW on line, I like the idea of
making my own choices and keeping track of points rather than just picking
from a limited list of foods.

I have the calculator but they also run out of them at the WW centers.
Supply doesn't always meet demand. In the week 1 book there is a huge
list of 0 point vegetables, fresh tomatoes included.

Here is a website that has tons of info including points:
http://www.dottisweightlosszone.com/index.html
Scroll down to see the various links to food lists and restaurants.

Download to your desktop some of her zip files for easy reference. I have
the restaurant file on my desktop for when we eat out.

I think it's partly due to it being New Year's with a lot of new members for
their NY's resolutions. I heard from my friend that our Sat am meeting we go
to together was SWAMPED this past week when I missed.

Our saturday am meeting was packed too. It's also free registration time and
that always drives attendence up. The key is to get them to stay.

Ours was, too...SRO (I couldn't stay, as our oldest son had the stomach
bug, and DH had to be someplace at 10 AM...).

I went to my first meeting Saturday. Ours is a franchise not corporate
so it doesn't participate in the free meeting program but surprisingly
no one who came and found it out left. I had already known because I
had called in advance. But they were out of some stuff and hoping to
get in a shipment this week for this Saturday's meeting. Of course they
have meetings there all week so by Saturday we get whatever's left HA HA
