OT Achievers vs. underachievers

She examines academic performance, type of institution attended, career direction, and satisfaction with life. All achievers were surer of career direction and completed more years of college than were underachievers, but did not report more satisfaction with life! As a bona fide "late bloomer" and "under achiever" I can attest to the truth in this. My satisfaction with life has nothing to do with my "career direction" and certainly not with my college years, which were more trouble than they were worth IMHO. Interesting post though.
