out of curiosity
does anyone have the diet menu that Micheal Thurmond promotes on his 6 week
program? He was featured in Extreme makeover were 3 people were chosen for the makeover but had to lose up to 35 lbs before being accepted for liposuction surgury. He talked alot about not believing in low carb ("the brain needs carbs to function" - right), then fed them all a low carb diet. Basically, it was 2-3 oz lean protein plus LC veggies (occasional starchy veggie, like yams, to help with workouts) per meal, 6x a day, no food after 7pm or so. But without the details, and without the HOURS of exercising each day (at least it looked like that), don't expect such an overview to be useful. But a google of what you asked for turned up lots of useful links, including a place where you can but the makeover kit (books, videos, equipment). |
