Default Food & Exercise -- 3/21/2007

Went to the gym this morning, then spent the rest of the day at home.

Food:

* 7:45 (home): 1 serving instant oatmeal w/ 22g peanut butter
* 12:30 (driving home from gym): apple
* 2:15 (home): 4 oz. ground turkey breast burger on whole wheat
hamburger bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slice, & catsup
* 4:00 (home): 1 oz. dark chocolate
* 8:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & 10g grated romano

Totals: 1354 calories (151 from alchol), 39g fat (26%), 123g carbs
(36%), 97g protein (29%)

Exercise:

* 10:00: Lifting: snatch pulls; power snatch; muscle clean & jerk;
clean pulls; back squat; hanging ab crunches

* 11:00: 75-minute yoga class, emphasis on forward bends

How long have you been at goal and what diet were you on?


In June I will have been at goal for 3 years -- started almost two
years before that. I wasn't on any "brand name" diet, just the old
eat less & exercise more plan. I counted calories and still do,
though I've decided I'm going to stop the counting (but not the
journaling) when I hit the 5 year anniversary of my new life style,
which will be this July.
