Default HOW OFTEN DOES ONE STEP ON THE SCALE?

I was weighing every AM and again each PM but I felt disscouraged today.
I felt control to watch the scale but I'm wondering what others do? How
often?

Warmly,
glo

There's no point in doing it more than daily. Your weight fluctuates
throughout the day due to water and food that you take into your body. If
you weigh yourself each day, there will still be fluctuations, but if you
make it the same time each day, you can reduce the effects.

A lot of people prefer even to weigh themselves weekly. But I'm a daily
man.

I should point out that I find the best time is in the morning after you
have been to the bathroom. At that point, your boy should be suffering less
from the effects of water weight.

I weigh every single day and I hate it! There are daily weight
fluctuations of water. I think once a week is more sensible. I measure
once every 2-3 weeks and this is the most telling aspect of my
weight-loss since I always have a measurement loss. I sometimes weigh
more than once a day. I'm an idiot!

You'll still get water weight fluctuations when you weigh once a week. At
least if you weigh yourself daily, you can look at the average trend.

I'm weaning myself from the scale since I've been maintaining almost 8
months now. When I was losing, I weighed every morning. Last month I
limited myself to twice weekly and now just once. I have found it to be
very liberating. Funny thing - while in weight loss mode, the scale was my
friend but on maintenance, it was becoming a not too enjoyable near
obsession. YMMV

Too often! It's part of masochism.

I weigh myself about every 4 or 5 days.

Stepping on everyday was getting discouraging for me with the stall. So
I changed to only on Friday mornings.
