Default Food & Exercise -- 9/8/2004

Food:

8:30 (home): 30g More & Less cereal, 30g All Bran, 22g whey protein, 1
cup skim milk

12:00 (work -- brought from home): 115g turkey meatloaf w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & catsup

3:00 (work -- brought yogurt from home, bought food in cafeteria): 1
cup f/f cherry yogurt w/ 1 cup fresh fruit (melon, pineapple, grapes)

6:15 (driving home): 1 1/2 oz. mixed nuts

8:00 (home): 2 veggie burgers w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese & catsup

Totals: 1385 calories, 42g fat (28%), 144g carbs (42%), 128g protein
(37%)

Exercise: None of significance. It is a gym day off for me, and it
was too rainy to go for our lunchtime walk.

Are you getting the remnants of Francis? They all stayed in Eastern Ohio so
all we had to deal with was a few scattered showers and lots of cloudy
skies.

10:00 am - breakfast: cottage cheese w/ Splenda
(180 grams cheese, a few drops Splenda)

Tasted DD's pear & baby biscuits mush

1:00 pm - lunch: tuna w/tomato salad and cream
(52 grams tuna (canned, drained); 1 Tbs cream; tomato salad = 1/2 tomato
with 1/2 ts olive oil, 1/2 ts apple vinegar, dash salt and black pepper)

4:00 pm - snack: black bread w/olive oil, Emmenthaler cheese and tomato
(1/2 slice black bread w/ 1 Ts olive oil, 50 grams cheese, 1/4 tomato w/
dash salt and pepper)

6:30 pm - snack: "diet pudding" w/ almonds and cinnamon
(190 grams light cream w/ 10 almonds, dash cinnamon and a few drops Splenda)

9 pm - dinner: stir-fried chicken
(1 portion stir fried chicken: 1/2 Ts olive oil, 1/2 onion, 180 grams
mushrooms (canned, drained solids), 1 garlic clove, 210 grams chicken
breasts, 1/2 Tbs Tamari soy sauce, 0.8 cup white wine)
for dessert: black grapes (15 berries)


Water = 9 cups
Herbal tea = 1.2 lt
vitamin C drink = 1/2 cup

Exercise: nothing except some 3 hrs of housework (not counting that in)

According to FitDay = 49 grams of carbs.

I always went for my kids custard pudding or peaches when I fed themg
I guess all moms do this.

Yep :-). It was still weird today -- no rain that I know of, but
overcast and windy.

Yep :-). It was still weird today -- no rain that I know of, but

Yea we always have some excuse, like "I wonder if it's too warm/too cold/is
the milk ok", don't we? g

Fortunately, DD is a good eater - I always make normal size portions for
her, and she always eats everything, so at least I won't fall in that "no
food goes to waste, I have to eat what she left" trap :-)
