Finally losing again !!
"JMA" wrote in message ... "Beverly" wrote in message ... Now this isn't too far from my normal woe. I would have had a couple more carbs and another fat with the occasional dessert on the weekends . With these minor changes I've lost 2 pounds in the last week! I plan on sticking with this for another week and see what happens. Hopefully I can continue with 1-2 pounds a week until I reach my mini-goal. At that time I may go back to my original woe and maintain for awhile. Beverly 177 / 147.5 / 140?? WTG Bev! You'll be looking good in those shorts in no time - though I suspect you probably look pretty good in them now Jenn Thanks Jenn. I've always carried my extra weight around the middle so a long shirt hides a multitude of flawsg I'm one of those who have no waist - most shirts are worn out. |

I think it's cool that when we want to shake up the status quo we have so many resources at our disposal. Making little changes can work wonders. I'm 5 weeks from my own vacation and intent on doing the best I possibly can in that time. Deadlines work well for me and today it looks very Spring-like outside. Out to walk!! s -- Walking on . . . Laurie in Maine 207/110 60 inches of attitude! Start: 2/02 Maintained since 2/03 Thanks. I knew it could be done if I just buckled down and put a string of 'good days' together. The toughest thing to give up has been the afternoon popcorn. But after a week I'm really satisfied with the low-cal yogurt instead of the popcorn. Carbs are my downfall. I could live on bread, popcorn, etc but I know they stall my weight loss and it's so easy to go over my daily caloric allowance with them. Enjoy that walk. We're finally beginning to get some spring-like weather here, too. It was below freezing earlier this week but it's supposed to be in the 60's the rest of the week. I'm going to be getting those bikes out and ready for the season. I need mine to start the bike patrol training April 3. Beverly |

Maybe it's because we're approaching the season where we can't wear bulky sweaters to hide our body flawsg Today it's actually beginning to feel like spring around here. We had temps below freezing most of last week and early this week. Hopefully the freezing temps are over.
