Food & Exercise -- 12/11-12/2006 (yesterday & today)
Monday, 12/11: Went to the gym in the morning for lifting and yoga.
Afterward i went to Bull Run Conservancy for a while to meet with the Monday volunteer and learn something about what she was doing so I could pick up on Tuesday. On the way home I stopped by the winery to visit. I didn't eat much yesterday -- had eaten a lot on Sunday, and last night my stomach was a bit queasy. (Felt fine today, though.) Food: * 8:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese & 10g grated asiago {didn't quite finish this -- little appetite} * 12:45 (driving to conservancy): energy bar * 3:00 (winery): 9 oz. wine; 2 mini Baby Bonbel cheeses (total 1 1/2 oz) * 8:15 (home): 2 chicken sausages (sun-dried tomato) w/ mustard Totals: 1062 calories (173 from alcohol), 37g fat (32%), 52g carbs (20%), 76g protein (29%) Exercise: 10:00 -- Upper body: barbell incline bench; barbell decline bench; standing cable fly; lat pulldown, wide overhand grip; lat pulldown, close reverse grip; seated cable rows; plate-loaded shoulder press machine; standing curls w/ EZ curl bar; skull crushers (lying overhead triceps extension w/ EZ curl bar), immediately followed by close-grip press w/ same bar 11:00 -- 75 minute vinyasa yoga class Tuesday, 12/12: Went for a run in the morning, then to the conservancy to work. Stopped at the grocery store along the way to get salad bar stuff for my lunch. Visited the winery on the way home. Food: * 8:15 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices f/f cheese & 10g grated asiago * 1:00 (conservancy): salad w/ 1 cup greens, 3 oz. tuna, 3 oz. kidney beans, 1 cup other veggies, 3 tbsp f/f ginger soy dressing * 4:00 (winery): 5 oz. wine * 5:00 (home): energy bar * 8:15 (home): 4 oz. ground turkey breast burger on 1 slice whole wheat bread w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup * 11:30 (home -- planned): 250g f/f Greek yogurt Totals: 1341 calories (95 from alcohol), 23g fat (15%), 112g carbs (34%), 148g protein (44%) Exercise: 10:00 -- 3 mile run Chris 262/130s/130s |
